Education Centre
We will have a fully functioning class room complete with access to Wi-Fi and educational materials, study and presentation areas, cloakrooms and WC. There will also also be a kitchen to prepare food and drink.
Through the exploration of our habitats we want to help bring wildlife, ecology and the wider environment to life for kids aged 3 to 103 .
We are naturally inquisitive as a race and everyone gets a thrill from discovering something new.
You come alive when you start to look, rummage or fossick.
If you explore you can still enjoy the expedition even if you didn’t think it would be interesting
If you are to be educated that makes us think of sitting up straight and listening -not as fun as rummaging, fossicking or exploring..
Finally you can always explore even if you know somewhere as well as the back of your hand. Nature will always surprise and delight you.

We have a dedicated wood for forest schools and woodland habitat education. There will also be hides for observing wildlife, places for quiet reflection and of course, parking for cars and coaches.
We want to help teachers bring wildlife, ecology and the wider environment to life for their children. This maybe within their curriculum or in a more relaxed format.
This education spreads beyond children we are teaming up with Adventure Training North East
They provide a wide selection of courses from Forest Schools to Duke of Edinburgh awards
Our goal is to work with them to attract as wider a range of people from all walks of life to enjoy and learn about being in the wild.
